We're fresh off our First Drive, and Lexus has announced full pricing for its upcoming 2010 GX 460 SUV. As you might expect, it's no cheap ride, with the Base model commanding $52,875, including an $875 destination and handling charge. Step it up a notch to the Premium level and the price nestles up to $57,640.
For the money, Lexus's second-generation luxo-off-roader sports a new 4.6L V-8 courtesy of the Toyota Tundra. In its newfound sheetmetal, the mill makes a healthy 301 hp at 329 lb-ft and is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The package gets an EPA-rated 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway.
Buyers can also expect to have heated and vented front seats; 10 airbags; front, rear, and side cameras; Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System; and full-time four-wheel drive. There's also a pre-collision warning system, a lane departure warning, and Intelligent High Beam lamps. Extra luxury comes courtesy of semi-aniline leather, a heated steering wheel, and heated outer second row seating.
Lexus plans on showing the GX at this year's L.A. Auto Show, so stay tuned for full coverage. Deliveries occur next month as well.
