Citroen's revamped 'DS' range looks set to welcome another member to the family. Following a succession of teaser pictures, Citroen has now completely revealed their new Geneva-bound concept car, known as the DS High Rider.
The three-door newcomer is a thinly disguised production model that will go head-to-head with the recently announced Nissan Juke. Thought to be labelled the 'DS4', the production car will gain another pair of doors and a set of more traditional alloys.
Underneath the skin, the new car uses the chassis from the all-new C4 hatchback, which goes on sale in the UK before the end of this year. As you can see, the DS4 gets the same kicked-up C-pillar as the current C4, while at the front is Citroen's bold double chevron grille complete with a DS badge.
Sales of the production model are likely to start in 2011. The final addition to the 'DS' range will be the DS5- based on the C5- which is expected to arrive later that year. For more details click here.
