With the debut of the 2010 Opel Astra at the Geneva auto show, our spy photographers knew it was just a matter of time before the wagon variant would appear for winter testing. Fortunately, they were on hand when it did. Say hello the Astra Sports Tourer, which essentially a slightly bigger version of the standard car with more cargo volume.
We hear the powertrain options and
interior from the standard Astra will carry over. The Astra's eight available engines include gasoline and diesels ranging in displacement from 1.3 to 2.0 liters and output from 95 to 180 horsepower. We also hear a hot GSi version is forthcoming.
